Park - General Request
Reported Thursday, 5 March 2026 at 11:18 am, Canterbury, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Travis Wetlands walking track. The section between the gate near Travis Country Drive and the cattle yards is regularly under water - long sections 5cm deep - too long to jump over so everyone gets wet feet. A sign has recently gone up about “seasonal flooding”. It used to only be in winter after heavy rain. Now it is every month. It needs lots of gravel. If you put it on when the puddles are there you’ll easily see when you’ve added enough. Many people walk & run here daily. Please fix this.
