Bus Shelter Issue

The reporter’s words
Recently this bus shelter was hit by a bus trying to reverse so it could continue on its journey. The issue is that the shelter is too close to the road. The other issue is that passengers who wish to get out the back door requires the bus driver to move forward so that the rear door is next to the only gap in the fence. SOLUTION: Extend the yellow line in front of the stop 6 more mtrs. Create a “rear door gap” on the tunnel die of the stop. Move the shelter further from the road.
