The reporter’s words

There are half a dozen utes parked under the cherry trees trees in the middle of Hagley Park (Salisbury Bridge path by the 'Lone oak'). They have been arriving to watch the AFL (?) Rugby game. Driving across the park from the Armagh entrance. One ute, with covered trailer came to set up and now (12:30-ish) the spectators are driving in to watch the play. Past dogs playing, over the slushy ground (other sports were cancelled this morning). What will happen when the cherries are flowering? Not exactly great for tourists coming to take photos of the blossom. The spectator vehicles need to be parked away... perhaps by the loo block (?).
