The reporter’s words

Flooding down road is unacceptable.. this is a service issue due to works but could have been planned for and mitigated. This flooding occurs every time we get a big rain event and the water floods down Watson’s Lane undermining the reserve, steps, and threatening private property. It is currently digging out gravel from recent work and shifting it down road. The post earthquake road walls are not repaired and people at 1 Gilmour Tce have been allowed to build their driveway access onto public road which means the stormwater discharge is interferred with amongst other road issues. This flooding is third world style!
