Roads - General
Reported Tuesday, 28 April 2026 at 1:56 pm, 4 Purple Peak Road, Akaroa 7581, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This has been reported before but no one came back to fix the issue. It's now becoming very dangerous again with people walking down that part of the road slipping on the water and moss now growing also cars starting to slip which will get worse with the lower temperatures that are nearly upon us turning the water to ice and then the hazards become very dangerous and more serious. The roadway is also now becoming degraded and making a new pothole which is getting worse by the day. URGENT REPAIR
