Park - General Request
Reported Sunday, 17 May 2026 at 10:08 am, Madras St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The aftermath of the concert at One NZ on Latimer Square. If it is the councils decision to rezone Latimer square as a bus terminal it needs to do better. There are double standards at play. When the City to Surf uses Latimer square everything is removed within two hours of the race start without rubbish being left behind. Latimer square has rubbish strewn around and the temporary fencing has not been removed. Latimer square is for all the community and not just stadium attendees.
