Roads - General
Reported Thursday, 28 May 2026 at 2:50 pm, 185–193 Grimseys Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Yellow lines need to be extended around the Grimseys Road and Prestons Road intersection due to the volume of traffic using it. This car often parks at end of the existing yellow lines forcing traffic to squeeze around it and the pedestrian crossing island. Traffic has to move quickly to clear the busy intersection and increasing the yellow lines would make it safer.
