Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 14 October 2019 at 12:27 pm, 811, Colombo Street, Christchurch, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Every day i see dangerous, illegal parking on the curb outside this restaurant. I have emailed numerous times and nothing has been done. It’s bloody dangerous as cars mount the pavement behind you when you are walking, and it’s only a matter of time before a pedestrian is injured or killed. Why has nothing been done? It’s also on yellow lines, yet restaurant patrons ignore this and mount the curb while getting takeaways. Why can’t bolards be installed to protect pedestrians? I would like a reply and to know when this will be fixed please. Thanks
