The reporter’s words

I have pruned the bulk of self seeded Oleria and pear tree on bank between Jacksons slip Rd and Paper Rd (above 34 Jacksons Rd) for the last 10+ years, due to their heavy weight which risks causing the fragile bank below the road to collapse during heavy rain (as per photo of tree further down Jacksons Rd). I am now nearly 80 yes old and can longer do this. Please could Council either remove the trees or prune to reduce weight. Currently contractors just prune the roadside. Thank you. Anton W
