Reported Monday, 29 June 2026 at 11:06 am, Taylors Mistake Beach, Christchurch Canterbury 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hi, I live at this beach and have be noticing more & more 4wd vehicles accessing Doc land from the summit road thur the working Scarborough farm down to fish off ‘black rock’. To my knowledge this is Not allowed. The other night at 11pm two vehicles did this . I phoned police as it’s dangerous during the day let alone at night. They were too busy to attend. Can we get a sign put up, maybe at the summit rd
