Roads - General
Reported Tuesday, 30 June 2026 at 8:09 pm, 23 Ross Tce, Canterbury, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
People have been performing 3 point turns (more than 3 points…) from Ross Terrace to Ross Parade. Due to the extreme angle, and vastly changing gradients of the road surface, people are sometimes losing traction and touching the fencing, which if they came through, they would plummet into our house below. I am afraid someone will soon panic to reverse, not knowing they will still be in forward gear, and drive through the weak timber fence. Can a couple of concrete bollards be put up? Thanks :)
