The reporter’s words

Very badly designed and dangerous cycle crossing: I raised this in 2024 and was told that can only be described as ‘fobbed off’, saying “our roading design people think it’s fine”. I am a safety expert with specialties in vehicle / pedestrian management and cognitive ergonomics and this is not okay. Cyclists riding eastward are expected to cross Ferry Road. The designated crossing point Is unclearly signed. The vision lines are very limited and cars have no idea to expect bikes crossing.
