The reporter’s words
Reserve grass has not been cut properly for months. A partial cut has been done but the remaining grass is far too long. I have to cut a strip around my property as a "defence" - come the dry weather this strip becomes a firebreak. This has been a recurring problem for the last few years - since the previous contractor lost the work and the terms of the contract must have changed.
