General Request
Reported Friday, 7 August 2026 at 7:52 pm, 98–142 Cashel St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Homeless man (with walker) begging for money and abusing pedestrians if they apologised for not having coins to give him. He was located near the entrance to Ballantynes on Cashel Street. It is not a good reflection of Christchurch for tourists to be experiencing this anti-social behaviour.
