The reporter’s words
Leaking watermeter,Mrs Carr at No.6 called CCC.They said this is a private lane & it was up to her to sort it.Leaking after the meter had been read. Leak is from split in PVC socket where the sealing tape looks new.Meter may have been tidied up recently,which I assume the council would have done. If this is the case then it would be nice if the tidy up could be tidied up to stop the leak :-)
