Park - General Request
Reported Friday, 4 September 2026 at 1:04 pm, Canterbury, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Around Avonhead Park (in the undergrowth) are several metal poles, wire netting, chunks of concrete, old posts, and disused piping. They are dangerous, unpleasant to look at, could be recycled for money, and seem to encourage litter bugs to add their poo bags, bottles and cans. Please could you arrange a tidy up. Thank you. It will probably take at least two people and a large vehicle for removal.
