The reporter’s words

No 5 Snap Send Solve. I had a phone call from Neville Pickering on Monday 11th of November responding to my last Snap Send about our berm. I was very happy to finally talk to Neville and reach a resolution, this being that the mowing would be upgraded to an ornamental mow due to the size of the berm and will.be more extensive that previous mows. Nothing was to happen the days up to show day but I had an assurance that someone would attend the property the following week which has been and gone. I am finding this process frustrating and not being managed by the Council at all, what disappoints me the most is being told that things will change for the better but nothing has occurred. I would at least like a response in writing showing what the council intends to do with this situation, if a meeting is required then we are more than happy to come into the council offices to discuss this further and hopefully get resolution. This situation has occured as I can not dispose of all the grass clippings outside the address and asked for a larger green bin.but this will only be supplied should we pay for it.I have mowed the berm for 12 years. I look forward to a response. Bill Cranshaw.
