Traffic Signals
Reported Thursday, 17 September 2026 at 8:25 am, 465–479 Barrington St, ????, ?????? 8024, ???.
The reporter’s words
The traffic light sequence has changed. Previously, when there were no pedestrians crossing, traffic going straight could proceed at the same time as left and right-turn traffic. Now, the straight-ahead light stays red even when no pedestrians are crossing, causing unnecessary delays for a short 20 to 30 metre stretch. This has been happening for over six months. Please review the traffic light sequence.
