Reported Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at 7:49 pm, 122 Briggs Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Please can you put a pedestrian island somewhere in this vicinity. So many people cross here coming out of the shopping centre. I myself find apart from the lights there is nowhere safe to cross. It would be nice to see people having the option to cross safely without the need to walk to the lights then walk back.
