Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 14 September 2015 at 7:34 am, 30, Allen Street, Christchurch, 8011, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Hi. I believe that Hammonds panel beaters are placing cones on Allen street so they can use the on-street parking for their own purposes. This means workers and students miss out on parking spaces in an area that has very high demand for parking. As far as I can tell there is no roadworks going on yet these cones keep appearing. I think it's unfair for Hammonds to do this, if in fact that's what is happening and I would appreciate the council speaking to them about it.
