Hazard, vehicle
Reported Monday, 5 October 2026 at 8:16 pm, 107A Major Hornbrook Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A neighbour is repeatedly parking on the grass berm directly outside our property. We live at 105 major hornbrook with no kerb, and driving onto and reversing off the sloped grass risks damaging and tearing it up. Can you please advise whether this parking is permitted and, if so, whether Council could consider a solution to prevent vehicles parking there, such as a kerb, bollards or other suitable protection? I do maintain it, but the vehicles parking on it are not helping, thanks Rob Manning
