The reporter’s words
Adjacent to the rugby field and beside MT Marine and behind Pegasus Fishing is some strongly hydrocarbon based contaminated soil on the ground which coated my dogs paws (and was incredibly hard to remove, with the smell not coming off her for 3-4 days). This is both an environmental and health and safety risk noting the proximity to the rugby field. Can this be inspected and the cause of the contaminant determined, and site remediated?
