The reporter’s words

At the top of whitewash Head Road the sign is misleading. Prior to the EQs you could walk around the cliffs and come out at the now fenced off area at the beginning of the track down the track from the carpark at the top of Scarborough Road I understand the Eastenders group formed the new track which has 26 steps into the Nicholson Park track. It is a bit obscured from sight at the top of whitewash Road. We use it all the time and prior to it being opened used the private road to access Flowers Track Yesterday a CCC official who obviously is not familiar with the area told us it was out of bounds. He would not be aware of the formed track. Could I suggest a notice be erected saying NO ACCESS AROUND CLIFFS. PLEASE USE TRACK and maybe an arrow. The entrance into the track could do with a tidy up. Thanks know there is heaps of tracks to maintain but great the Eastenders created this one
