The reporter’s words
There are road works on Winchester at which is forcing the bus route to detour past our house on Dublin st where it turns into Exeter. This road is narrow and can not cope with buses and on coming traffic. Cars are being forced to drive on the foot path, pedestrian have no where to go and so far one bus has hit a neighbours car. This situation is crazy, the sensible solution would be to detour the bus along London up Canterbury and on to Winchester, the school buses are doing this route.
