The reporter’s words

Fireworks packaging left on beach last night and collected by us and put in a pile infront of surf club. Staff were cleaning pier but did nothing on the beach! Tide was coming in and a large amount of bottles and fireworks were washed into the sea. Serious pollution and I want the council to arrange a pick up rubbish clean up next time they do event. Once again locals left with problems of bad organisation , fireworks were great but leave a place tidy. So collect our pile outside new Brighton surf club and get beach patrol to look out where rubbish might be washed Up ? South shore or into the estuary.
