Great stay! The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They kindly accommodated our late check-in, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
aishworya bhattarai, 4 months agoNot at all like it was when we stayed a few years back. Electrical items in poor condition inc heater, electric blanket, fridge & jug. No smoke alarms or sprinklers! Shower had old soap scum in the soap dish & purple shampoo up the walls. Toothbrush holder covered in scum in the bottom. No bathmats or face cloths.I was there as my Mum was in hospital so I only slept there. Had I been there during the day, I would have addressed the issues. Needs a major update to the dated decor, appliances & fire ssfety. Wouldn't reccommend & wouldn't visit again.
Lauren Morris, a month agoWe had a wonderful stay at Aalton Motel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind from the moment we arrived. Our apartment was spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The motel felt comfortable and homely, making it easy to relax and feel at home during our stay. The location is excellent! Super close to fantastic restaurants, beautiful Hagley Park, and the city centre, making it easy to explore Christchurch without travelling far. Highly recommend Aalton Motel and would happily stay here again. 10/10! 😊
