Tanoshi is such an amazing restaurant in Christchurch! All the food tastes incredible. You can absolutely tell their soup is simmered from real bones with rich, natural broth — no artificial MSG at all. The staff are warm, attentive and deliver fantastic service from start to finish. Will definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone!
FU W, 2 months agoExcelente Japanese/Ramen place! If you are visiting Christchurch and craving for some ramen or Japanese food, this is the right place! The service is amazing, everybody is so kind and helpful, the plates came so fast and with the right temperature, the ramen is really good and authentic, as well as the sashimi that was soooooo amazing, exactly what we were looking for!!! They take credit card payment with no extra charge which is wonderful. 100% recommended

Every dish we saw come out of the kitchen looked like an incredible work of art & what we had was the best Japanese food either of us had ever tasted! I would go so far as to say that it was exquisite!! Yum yum yum and the flavours were incredible. I had a plum wine which was gorgeous & my friend had a sake cocktail which was lovely too! Would love to go back and order off the ramen menu. So many options & a great venue for sharing plates. Loved it & will re
