The reporter’s words
Hi there On Saturday 5th March there was a festival at The Commons, right opposite my day spa Urban Skin and Body. I was never notified of the event. This event created a huge amount of noise and parking issues for our clients. The noise and base of the music was so loud it could be heard very clearly in our treatment rooms and because of this we had to offer discounts to our clients (who pay good money for rest and relaxation). If I had know this event was on I would not have opened the business on Saturday and would have told my four staff to take leave. Please can someone get in touch with me regarding future events at The Commons is this is a council owned land. If this is not owned by the council please can you pass this onto the owners. I cannot have that level of noise opposite my business again without notice. Regards Ginnie Matson 0275 446643
