The reporter’s words

Scott park. The gates have been installed but as yet they are not being locked in the evening. Yesterday a resident opposite the park went across to tell the owners of a white van they could not use the park as a sleep over. He was punched in the face by the owner of the van. Police came out - not sure if the van was still there -but police talked to a council worker who was there. This was early in the morning - sometime between 7 and 8. Not sure of any follow up action. We were told that the council needed to get a roster organised for someone to lock the gates at night and open them in the morning - this was weeks ago. Still waiting. Can you advise please when this is likely to happen?
