Chch earthquake CTV building memorial sign at Te Aio memorial garden badlyneeds cleaning / delaminated coating repaired. Speaks volumes of our short memories and attention span, not to mention self-serving love of comfort - that the stadium across the road gets tens of millions for a roof but council does not maintain such an important wahi tapu with the respect it requires. And when and if it is repaired - be sure to leave the rocks around it, left by those who cared enough to mark the memory.
