Pest / Vermin
Reported Thursday, 16 January 2025 at 7:14 am, 14 Riccarton Avenue, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Canadian Geese excrement is a public nuisance, a health issue and an eye sore around Lake Victoria and Hagley Park in general. These birds need to be culled and killed. They are not a native and the sheer numbers around the park waterways is a major water polluting issue. Foot paths are unsightly and highly polluted with bird poo. Please do something asap. As a regular walker in the park I am appalled at the lack of action over this.
