The reporter’s words

Hazard. It is almost impossible to see the change in pavement in the dark due to faded green paint and shadows. The grass area is also sunk and muddy and I hit the edge of the asphalt on the other side and had a very scary experience. As the sign is high and the path narrow and poorly lit I didn't see that the bike path went onto the road til it was too late. Better lighting here, renewed pain and an advance warning painted on the path would be appreciated.
