Kia ora, This seems to be a frequent issue with the Linwood pool, I have reported it before. Today I checked the swimming lane availability in the council's website before visiting the Linwood pool. All 6 lanes showed as available so my friend and I decided to visit. But upon arrival we have been welcomed by a sign saying all swimming and aqua jogging lanes are closed! It would have saved us a lot of trouble if this information had been put on the website.
