Road Signage
Reported Sunday, 5 July 2026 at 7:10 am, 26A Saint Asaph St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The signage at the St Asaph entry / exit to the Parakiore car park severely restrict visibility of cyclists approaching on the cycleway. The temporary signage is at the same height as a driver in a typical low car perfectly blocking bikes. The permanent signage is just massive. The sight-lines are very poor, the front of a car has to be halfway across the cycleway before being able to see a good distance along it.
