From the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be a memorable lunch. Jorja (spelling) was delightful as was the other waitress, sorry we didn’t get her name. The food was excellent, highly recommend the beef cheek. Beautiful setting, will definitely be back to celebrate our wedding anniversary again next year.
Maureen R, 2 months agoFor the last 2 years we have celebrated my mums birthday at The George for lunch. This year she was 91 . What was particularly fabulous this year was the exceptional service provided by the wait staff. They were kind, helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be serving us. As well, the food was as usual lovely. Mum and my partner who was also celebrating a birthday were spoiled with beautiful sweet treats on the house complete with candles! It really the place to go if you want to feel special.
Donna Thomson, 2 months agoExcellent service and food! Had steaks from the grill, and it was a good idea to pair a vegetable on the side. Both cooked to our liking and paired nicely with the sauces.
