General Request
Reported Tuesday, 16 January 2024 at 7:50 am, 36 Union Street, New Brighton, Christchurch, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
36 Union St is a former Plunket building, now abandoned and not maintained. I think it is owned by CCC. Homeless people are regularly bringing furniture onto the site and living in the verandah of the building. They are often drinking during the day and loud at night. Nearby residents do not feel safe.
