I'm still salivating from the fluffy, grilled garlic bread alone, and that's before indulging in every single thing we got on the shared platters. The meats were all perfectly cooked, the prawns were huge, and the variety of choices on a platter for two covered every taste we might want. Adding to that, they had mocktails which were well flavoured, complete with pineapple slices and those little umbrellas haha; it all showed the care they put into it. I knew this was going to be a good meal as soon as I saw the unique table designs.

The chicken and prawn platter with coleslaw, potato salad and garlic bread is my top choice. Hubby LOVES the Jimmy's burger. They also have all you can eat for $55. Happy hour options includes a cocktail. Stocky date pudding is delicious. Place is always tidy. Atmosphere is pleasant. Gave a 4 instead of 5 for service as one of the lovely waitresses is a little hard to understand due to broken English. But does not spoil the food at all and will not stop us from returning.
Crid dle, 4 months agoHad another awesome experience at Jimmy’s Smokehouse! This is our second time here—we come all the way from Auckland, and we always make sure to dine here for a night. That alone says a lot. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a really warm welcome that set the tone for the evening. The waiter was great—gave us plenty of time to look through the menu and decide what we wanted without any pressure, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
